A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
February, 2010

 Greetings, Fellow Prospectors,
     As mother nature maintains her grip on all of our favorite mining areas, all we can do is wait for spring and summer.
     The trip to the Western Mining Museum by some of our members gave some of us relief from our cabin fever. Ha! Ha!
     Some of our members packed up and went out west to Arizona for the Annual Rendezvous in Stanton. Warm sunshine melted away some of the cold of Colorado for a week or so.
     The GPAA Gold Show in Phoenix is always one of the best shows all year. Alton Oakes and his wife Pat were there and they reported a huge turn out. Alton will be telling us more about their outing at our March 3^rd. meeting. We hope you will all be able to make it.
     We are also having a bake sale. Please try to make something to donate for the club. Be sure to attend and help support your club. Hope to see you all there.
     I am looking forward to our next season this year. It should be a good one, so, until then, may you always find some yellow in the bottom of your pan.
